MSP is pleased to announce an exciting cadre of experts who have recently joined our group. The MSP team now proudly includes noted IT and sustainability advocate Dr. Idris Sulaiman and green operations expert Nathan Springer. Idris and Nathan leverage their distinguished backgrounds to support MSP’s client base in the United States and abroad. They bolster a team which includes eminent professionals such as former California EPA Secretary Winston Hickox, who served as the Portfolio Manager for Environmental Initiatives at the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS); and Peter Fusaro, who has four decades of experience in advising funds on environmental strategic assets allocation.
Dr. Idris Sulaiman is an affiliate consultant of MSP as well as a Visiting Fellow on ICT Sustainability at the Australian National University at Canberra. His research covers a number of applied areas of Information Communications Technology (ICT) including ICT energy efficiency and sustainability benchmarking, development of energy efficiency standards and regulations. He has written on ICT for development topics particularly on the implementation of online/e-government, e-advocacy and ICT diffusion programs both in emerging and developed economies.
Nathan Springer joined MSP as a consultant after earning an MBA and MS (Natural Resources) at the University of Michigan where he added corporate sustainability experience to nearly 8 years in marketing. His notable accomplishments include designing carbon and energy metrics to assess market potential for bio-based products used by Dow Chemical and performed an analysis of a $100M market for Owens Corning energy efficiency products, amongst others. A team he led performed analysis that identified opportunities to increase market growth and reduce water use from a river in Oregon. His work increased revenue, reduced costs, and saved energy, carbon, and water.
