Supply Chain Compliance Lead
Tara Holeman is a corporate responsibility professional and social compliance expert who has implemented supply chain programs within companies, nonprofits and multi-lateral institutions. With Malk Partners, Tara has conducted supply chain diligence on several acquisitions, and helped to develop risk mitigation strategies for client companies post-acquisition.
She previously served as Vice President at the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) where she directed the Validated Audit Process for manufacturer audits and the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative for mineral traceability. She has performed advisory work on labor standards in the consumer goods and agriculture sectors, including spending time as an auditor and trainer in the Americas and Asia. In 2001 she was the first employee to open an overseas office for Business for Social Responsibility when BSR expanded to Hong Kong and China. Ms. Holeman works with businesses and industries on multi-year, large-scale efforts to upgrade supply chain standards and practices.
Tara holds a B.A. from Stanford University and an M.A. from The Fletcher School.
She is fluent in Spanish and has lived in Mexico and Hong Kong and traveled extensively in the Americas and Asia for work
