Olivia Bisel
Associate
Olivia is an Associate at Malk Partners, where she conducts ESG due diligence reviews in transactions. Olivia identifies and evaluates ESG risks for target companies to mitigate potential operational liabilities. Prior to joining Malk, she worked for the World Bank on a Tanzania teacher incentive project, the California EPA’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment, and Nielsen Merksamer, a boutique law firm specializing in lobby, gift, and ethics law. Olivia excels in quantitative and attributional capabilities, with significant experience in statistical analysis. During her studies, she served as a teacher’s assistant of International Trade and excels at translating complex models into intuitive concepts. Olivian brings a global perspective to her work at Malk, having spent substantial time abroad assessing an intervention program for the Georgetown University Initiative on Innovation, Development, and Evaluation (Gui2de).
Education
Olivia holds a B.S. in International Affairs from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she majored in International Economics and minored in German.
Additional Information
At Georgetown, Olivia served as chair of a premier international economics conference, edited the Science & Technology section of the Georgetown Journal of International affairs, and danced on the GU Dance Company.
Olivia’s outside passions center around renewable energy, interior design, ballet, and travel (particularly to destinations with museums, cafes, and flea markets). She is in constant pursuit of the perfect chocolate croissant.
