Erin is a Vice President at Malk Partners where she specializes in strategic planning, market assessment, and corporate development. As part of the Malk team, Erin provides advice on ESG management to assist private equity firms in successfully integrating ESG practices throughout their investment process. She is an advocate for education on ESG risks and opportunities which can materially impact a company’s operations and reputation. Erin co-authored “ESG’s Place on the Social Impact Spectrum – Defining What ESG Management Is – and Want It Isn’t” for Middle Market Growth, The Official Publication of ACG, and works to drive industry alignment to responsible investment.
Erin graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with a Dual B.A. in Speech Communication and Spanish from the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.
Prior to joining Malk Partners, Erin worked in financial services at Merrill Lynch, developing and implementing investment strategies for high net worth individuals. She was first introduced to private equity investments through her involvement in financial planning and quickly became interested in the high performing asset class. Before joining Merrill Lynch, Erin managed national accounts for PPG Industries, a global manufacturer and Fortune 200 company. At PPG, Erin was an active participant in corporate sustainable strategies and served as a trusted thought leader for environmental stewardship for her business unit.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys traveling, yoga and volunteering with The Junior League of San Diego.
