Brandon is an Associate at Malk Partners, where he conducts ESG due diligence reviews in transactions. Brandon identifies and evaluates ESG risks for target companies to mitigate potential operational liabilities. Prior to joining Malk, Brandon helped to launch IR Insider—a student-led publication that unpacks political, economic, and social happenings in the international sphere—and contributed weekly articles in his capacity as a MENA (Middle East and North Africa) staff writer. He has also served as the head representative to the UN Secretariat in New York for the Organisation Internationale Pour Les Pays Les Moins Avancés, a Geneva-based NGO that promotes sustainable peacebuilding and economic development for Least Developed Countries (LDCs). He developed and delivered written and oral statements—conveying the concerns of local-level stakeholders in LDCs—in relevant ECOSOC and DESA sessions.
Brandon graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Political Science and Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies (with an emphasis on international relations and political economy).
During his time at NYC, Brandon spent a semester abroad at NYU’s Tel Aviv campus to further his studies in Arabic, which ultimately inspired him to file a senior honors thesis that analyzed the economic and sociopolitical positioning of Druze ethnic minority communities living within pre-1967 Israeli borders.
Outside of work, Brandon enjoys golfing, rock climbing, expanding his music library, and following New York Yankees baseball.
